The CoastCare Mentor Mate Program is a unique initiative designed to support young men 10-26 years of age, particularly those with a background in trauma, learning, and processing disabilities.
Developed by a Social Worker with over 7 years of experience working with young men transitioning out of out-of-home care, this program provides crucial guidance to those who may not have had positive male role models in their lives.
With a trauma-informed approach at its core, the program uses the latest evidence-based practices to help young men navigate everyday life challenges, process emotions, and develop the skills needed to manage stress. Whether it’s building confidence, learning to cope with frustration, or making positive choices, the program is designed to meet each participant where they are, providing them with the tools to thrive.
If you are a young man struggling with emotional regulation, decision-making, or life stressors and you need the support of a positive, experienced mentor, the CoastCare Mentor Mate Program can help. Our dedicated mentors are here to guide, empower, and support you in reaching your full potential.
