About CoastCare Sydney

Our History

CoastCare Sydney is an NDIS provider founded by a Social Worker with over 7 years experience in the NDIS space.

The concept for CoastCare Sydney came after identifying a need for a provider who maintained low caseloads and delivered high quality work. We found that participants were often not given consistently good service after initial meetings and often only had contact with their providers during times of crisis. We wanted to ensure that we were able to provide the same quality service from start to finish, and identify any potential points of crisis before they occur.

Coming from a Social Work background, it was especially important to us to ensure we got a holistic picture of the individual person so that we can work alongside them to build up their capacity to be their own advocates and representatives.

Due to our unique model, we pride ourselves on being able to deliver timely, responsive and knowledgeable service to our participants and their supports.

Accredited Mental Health First Aid Provider

COMING SOON

CoastCare Sydney is proud to be an accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training provider, delivering evidence-based education that empowers individuals and organisations to respond to mental health challenges with confidence and care.

Mental health issues affect one in five Australians every year, making it essential that workplaces and communities have people who are trained to recognise the signs, offer support, and guide others towards professional help. MHFA training is not just for frontline disability workers – it is invaluable for teachers, healthcare staff, office professionals, community workers, managers, and anyone in a people-focused role.

Our two-day interactive course equips participants with practical strategies to:

  • Recognise the early warning signs of common mental health concerns.

  • Respond with confidence in crisis situations.

  • Provide initial support and encourage help-seeking behaviour.

  • Reduce stigma and foster safer, more supportive environments.

Upon completion, participants are formally recognised as Mental Health First Aiders and receive a nationally accredited certificate. This qualification signals to colleagues, clients, and the wider community that you are equipped to respond appropriately in moments of need.

By investing in MHFA training, workplaces across education, health, disability services, and corporate sectors can build resilience, reduce risks, and strengthen cultures of wellbeing.

Take the proactive step in supporting your team, your students, and your community.
